The Evolution of Naruto From Dreamer to Hokage

Masashi Kishimoto sensei is the writer of Naruto Series where we can see Naruto Uzumaki’s journey from an outcast boy to becoming the Hokage of Hidden Leaf Village, in this anime. His personal and Ninja growth reflects the core themes of determination, self – belief, and resilience. In this blog, we will dive into the defining moments of Naruto” 's life that shaped him into a leader of Hidden Leaf Village and the hero of the 4th Great Ninja War.   

  

From the very beginning of Naruto’s storyline, we see him as an outcast in the Hidden Leaf Village, and his childhood is marked by the curse of loneliness and isolation because he is the jinchuriki of Nine-Tailed Fox, a powerful beast that wreaked havoc on the village and killed his parents as well as many citizens. For that reason, Naruto was shunned by villagers who feared and resented him. So, he grew up without the warmth of a family or friends leaving him desperate for attention and acceptation of the village. In response to rejection, he often acted out, for example pulling pranks on the villagers, painting the Hokages statue, and so on. Yet, beneath his loud, rebellious exterior, he was a boy filled with pain and longing for connection. Despite his hardships, Naruto's spirit remained unbroken. His unwavering belief in his dream and determination to prove himself kept him going. 

 

After some time, Naruto becomes a part of Team 7 which consists of Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura, and their sensei Kakashi Hatake, so lastly Naruto's journey as a ninja officially begins by getting a D rank mission named “protect a grumpy old man named Tazuna as he returns to his home”. In that mission, Naruto and his team found some difficulties due to Tazuna’s lie about the mission. However, they fought against  Zabuza Momochi and his partner Haku.

Zabuza Momochi is a Strong fighter of Hidden Mist village and a rough ninja. Afterward, we see the teamwork of Team 7 and a glimpse of Naruto’s Nine-Tailed Fox Chakra. At last, they won against the Zabuza and as a gratitude for Naruto's strong determination to save Tazuna’s village people, they named the Bridge after Naruto. After completing several missions kakashi sensei nominated the whole team 7 to take part in the Chunin exam. It was a stage where he faced some tough opponents from his village and neighboring village. This exam forced him to dig deep and push beyond his limits. Though he didn't pass the exam but he won the hearts of the watchers.

Afterward, there is a time skip of two years where Naruto goes under tough training under the Legendary Sanin Jiraiya. In these years he learned about how to use Rasengan and invented his jutsu known as Rasen shuriken. Jiraiya not only taught Naruto advanced techniques but also served as a father figure, guiding him toward his destiny. It was during this time that Naruto began to understand the weight of being a Jinchuriki-tailed beast and the importance of controlling his inner power. In the meantime, Jiraiya was sent on a mission by direct order from the 5th Hokage to the Hidden Rain Village. In this Arc, Jiraiya gathers some deadliest information about a group named Akatski where he found who is the leader of that group and their twisted motive. However, Jiraiya gets caught by the members of that group and killed by them. In his last moments, jiraiya sent a coded message to Naruto and the whole Hidden Leaf Village on the back of a toad named Fushigua who was the mentor of Jiraiya. After hearing the news of Jiraiya’s death, Naruto was devastated, overwhelmed with grief and disbelief, feeling the crushing weight of losing his mentor and father figure. He struggled to accept the reality, his sorrow fueling a deep resolve to honor Jiraiya's legacy and avenge his death. To become stronger than before Naruto goes to undergo training at  Mount Myoboku to learn the sage jutsu. While training at Mount Myoboku Akatsuki attacked the Village to snitch the Nine-Tailed Fox from Naruto's body. In the meantime, Naruto received the message and teleported himself into the village with an iconic style having sage mode. At that point,   Fushigua mentioned that he suppressed Jiraiya in this mode. At last, Naruto defeats the pain who is the leader of Akatsuki, and forgives Nagato.  

This devastating situation caught all the eyes and arranged the Fiva Kage’s Summit. At this summit, a peace treaty will be signed among the 5 nations. However, during the chaos, Tobi (Obito) interrupts the summit. He reveals his true identity as Madara Uchiha and declares the Eye of the Moon Plan, aiming to collect all Tailed Beasts to revive the Ten-Tails and cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi, a genjutsu to control the world. After revealing his plan, Madara declares war on the Five Great Nations, leading to the formation of the Allied Shinobi Forces and the beginning of the Fourth Great Ninja War.  

After that, Naruto gained control over the Nine-Tailed Fox Chakra and knows about his Parents (Minato Namikaze 4th Hokage of Hidden Leaf and Kushina Uzumaki (Nine-Tailed Beast former Jhinchuriki) ). Then he joined into the battle and saw the devastating situations of the battlefield. In that war, he lost his so many comrades as well as Neji. The war became more chaotic when Madara Uchiha aka Ghost of Uchiha came to the battlefield. He alone took all the pages. It seems like there are a bit of cockroaches in front of Madara. When Naruto came up to the battlefield he saw the devastating scenarios, for example, the tailed Beast snitching up every beast from their jinchurikis. At that point, Kurama aka (Nine Tailed Beast) for the first time shared his chakra with Naruto. 

 Madara Uchiha is defeated after he becomes the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki and gains god-like power. However, Black Zetsu betrays him, using him as a vessel to resurrect Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, the progenitor of chakra. Kaguya battles Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi in a dimension-hopping fight. Naruto and Sasuke, with the powers of Hagoromo, manage to seal Kaguya using their combined Rikudo Chibaku Tensei. After Kaguya’s defeat, Madara is revived but dies due to his wounds and the release of the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Peace is restored. After passing the Chunin exam as well as gathering some knowledge about National policies. He became the 7th Hokage of Hidden Leaf Village.
