Mitchi: Our new family member

 We never thought that we would adopt a cat. Actually our parents never allowed me and my sibling to have a cat or dog. On 5th May, when we used to live in Mirpur,13, at second floor, a cat came to our house through balcony and gave birth to four kittens. But four days later, she took three kittens but left one kitten because she was weak. She abandoned her. So we decided to adopt her. We took care of her, took her to the pet hospital. The doctor suggested some medicine. She was really weak but slowly she recovered. Then we shifted to Uttar Kafrul. We named our cat Mitchi. It is Japanese name and kind of a unique name. Basically cat abandons her kitten if her kitten is weak. It was hard for her at the first time but she is now used to it. She plays with us everyday. She sleeps anywhere like sofa, kitchen, cabinet, bed etc. She is very active and playful. Sometimes she spends her all day sleeping. She is very patient. Although I am a dog person, but I do love cats. Cat is a majestic animal. She could have a worse condition  if we didn't adopt  her. I had never thought that we would have a cat. There are so many cats like Mitchi who gets abandoned and have a critical condition. Some people irritate them without any reason. People can adopt cats which are having a harsh condition. Our cat Mitchi is now four months old. To avoid infection, and rabies, we take her to vet for vaccination. She is litter trained. Mitchi eats with us, sleeps with us. She is the cutest cat and the best companion I have ever had. Though I having  academic pressure, but I still give time to her and also my family. Also, cats are fascinating creatures. Cats are mostly known for their independent nature. Although they often enjoy their alone time but they can be affectionate too. For communication, they use body language, meowing, purring and scent marking. During night, cats have excellent night vision. They have a broader range of hearing frequencies than humans. There are many types of cat breeds like I can say 70. Cats are basically carnivorous. But sometimes they eat grass or vegetables for heart and eye health. They spend their significant amount of time grooming themselves. This behavior both keeps their coat clean and helps regulate body temperature and reduce stress. Indoor cats typically live longer than outdoor cats because outdoor cats had to live in a harsh condition sometimes. They sometimes do not get food properly. That's why they had to steal food  from others house. We should not neglect them in this situation.
